    Default Bugs

Do you use a wet chami to clean bugs? Works best for me. Wet chami, put on windshield (or anything) wait 15 min, take off and dry w other chami. Saves a lot of time and cleaner. All bugs come right off.
    Happy riding!

Reminds me of the motorcyclist in " Gumball Rally"-----Lapchik-- the mad Hungarian. 2 stroke bike with a black faring. The race across the country-- won by a Shelby Cobra.

Water plus a dryer sheet in a spray bottle helps to dissolve bug spatter. Spray it on--let it sit a minute or two--then wipe off.

Lukewarm water. Clean old rag. Soaked in the water and laid on windscreen and other parts. Works like a charm. Used wife's vacuum to suck off from the grills. Used compressed air on radiators fins. All clean. 3 hours... Ready to get more butterflies...

That's nothing...... You should come and ride through Hwy 4, Hwy. 12, Hwy. 26 in San Joaquin County
California that is all farm country and when you get home your shield and everything else is covered
some times you even have to pull over and clean a spot to see through when they are on the fly swarming.

Nope, he didn't get 'em all... you should've seen my car after driving I-35 south to Edinburg heading home from MO on Thursday the 12th!

Little brown butterflies, about 1 inch in size, musta been mating season. Betcha they got quite a bang from mating with a Buick!

Oh well, they're not nearly as tough to remove as the love-bugs in May and September.

When we used to ride with the group...they had an annual "bug" ride. A target was affixed to some part of the windshield. At the end of the ride, the one with the most bug splatters on the target was the winner.

I look at this as making the best of a bad situation.
