    RE: Stars for navigation

    My other home had a wonderful view of the Big Dipper and the North Star. Because of our position here in AK, it was almost straight up from my deck. As the night progressed, the Dipper would seem to revolve around the North Star.

    Yes, Mars. It was REALLY bright. Jupiter was to the right of the MW but didn't make the cut!

    Really.... a Spyder is the ideal vehicle to hunt the Milky Way. It is safer than 2 wheels at night and carries everything I need. At Big Bend NP last year I had a 6 foot camera slider hooked to it. That was a sight to see!
