Tire Pressure Question
Well I did it! I now have a Kumho Ecsta on the rear of my 2016 F3T. I’m 6’5 and 310lbs! Any tire pressure recommissioned? I ran 28 in the stock Kenda and I know from past forums many of you don’t run that much pressure in a car tire! I’m an old man so I don’t race it or drive crazy. Do occasionally go to up!

Try 20 psi to start with. Maybe go up to 22 considering your weight. The Kuhmo is a much harder tire then stock and will last a very long time. But you sacrifice grip for that. So the lower the air pressure in general means more grip, but may make the back end feel a little sloppy.

Yeah, I’ve got the Kuhmo and I’ve got a few pounds on you, I-Day. I ran at 24 for a while, then 22, 20, and 18 and experienced no issues and a “seat of the pants” best handling feeling for me at 18. I’ve settled on 20psi as about the right ‘feel” for me, but as Billy says, suck it and see.
