    Default RT Belt Noise

The drive belt on my 2012 RT is squealing a lot more than usual lately... especially in low gears when powering up. It has 23,000 miles, feels tight as usual and looks ok. Is it wore, time for new one? Not sure how to check for wear ...Wondering when others change. Thanks!

    Default Belt Noise?

Check the belt tracking, it may be riding against the flange on either the rear or front sprocket!

TSB 2012-4. Put a dab of synthetic grease on a few places around the rear sprocket. As you ride it works around to cover all teeth. Of course this goes along with verifying all the belt specs are in spec. See post #9.

I’ve also tried some of that chain wax. Works well, too.

best thing I've found is a bar of soap. it works pretty good until things get wet and the suds begin.
