Default SE Ohio Spyder Ryde 2018

This was a great Ryde promoted by Rick and Teresa aka. Value Accessories.

This started by them just a few years ago as a local Ryde to replace the abandoned Ohio Spyder Ryders. Since then and obviously is has grown a lot. This year there were Ryder stars that I met from Ohio, all four surrounding states, Canada, Tennessee and not to forget Idaho.

the route was great, the roads were perfect condition, the courtesy of a clutter of 104 Spyders and two two wheelers was just like an orchestral composition. It all worked well and the commecialization was really nonexistent.

Great job and thank you Rick and Teresa!

    Default I was there

This was my first year at this event and I enjoyed it. The big ride was well organized and I was impressed - lunch was excellent too. I did my longest Spyder trip 950 miles - the hot weather tore us up going home .

I have to share the ride we went on today in Zanesville, Ohio area. 103 bikes, 101 Spyders, 1 HD and 1 Victory. Distance 220 miles, 1 group with several planned stops and lunch. Riders meeting; leader says he needs about 28 Blockers, so we volunteer. All blockers wear orange arm bands and line up behind the lead bike. As he comes to an intersection he wants blocked he points where he wants you and whoever is next in line blocks the intersection. When the last bike is through the Tail gunner motions you in front of him/ her. And the next blocker up front does the next intersection, etc. At each stop all blockers line up behind the lead bike again and start the rotation again. We maneuvered 100+ bikes all day through towns and restaurants and gas stops like it was nothing. At one point they wanted everyone to ride some twisties at their own pace so they sent 8 bikes ahead with orange flags with a 10 minute lead. As we road the ride and came into town they flagged us all in at each intersection telling us where to turn to get us all to the meet-up location for fuel. Also during the day if the group made a turn a blocker was stationed at the turn to make sure no one missed it and again they would fall back in front of the tail gunner. We have done group riding for years but this process topped them all.
