    Default Doc Humphrey’s spring stiffeners

Does anyone have installed Doc’s spring stiffeners. They look real easy to install, but how do they work? Thanks

We’ve got a pair on my RT and one set on SWMBO’s. They give the front end a bit stiffer spring rate by expanding between two of the coils. They go on with just a 90 degree twist of a wrench. I feel that they money was well spent.

the spring stiffeners are the second picture down on the page

I have two on each of my front shocks, Doc installed them for me at Spyderquest 2016. Really tightened up the front end. Money well spent.

    Default Really good

I used them for about 2 months. I went and had a bunch of add on installed on my 15 RTL. I had the front shock spring adjusters installed (http://store.valueaccessories.net/SpyderRT2013FrontShockSpringAdjusters.aspx)
I have the Doc Humphrey’s units for sale. They were actually pretty effective at stiffening up the front.

I got the new kit so I didn’t need the Doc units anymore. With the new kit I can make adjustments wit a spanner.

Default I have just rear ones

I have them just on the rear of my 2014 RTS...(you use 1/2 of a set) It allows you to set your air pressure one bar lower on the dash scale...Doc said it will also allow me to keep riding double the next time my air compressor fails when I'm out on the road riding double...I hope he's right...larryd

The paint on mine is starting to come off so it is easy to see them. The nuts in combination with the swaybars replacement was the fix for me. I absolutley love how it handles now ...
