Default small little round battery under the seat near piston

Hey Folks, What is the little round battery for and where should it go? It is just randomly on the piston tube.
    Thanks

Sorry folks: 2015 RTS and it is not gone. Not sure where it disappeared to? Based on comments below, it sounds like it was a magnet. I may never know now..LOL!

Default A Spare for the air gauge in the toolkit under the seat?

A Spare for the air gauge in the toolkit under the seat? You may have a digital air gauge in the toolkit strapped under your seat....

They dont put air gauges in the Newer Spyders.

Maybe the battery fell into that area. There is no battery under the seat.

What type of Spyder do you have would help too and pics as mentioned.

If it is 'on' the seat lift piston, it is probably a magnet, not a battery.

    Default Interesting....🤔

Not that it would help with the battery but will help us to know which spyder we are talking about. Don't know of anything under the seat that would use a small battery or anywhere on the spyder unless it is an after market item. Guess we are short on information but there are some good guesses above...

You might be right here...if it is a magnet, where should it be placed? And after I say that, I looked again just now and couldn't find it! Oh well

the little round battery is probably the air valve for the rear air bag. Cap could look like a little round battery.

Quit guessing! Just hook it up and see what happens! Trial and error method!
