    Default Code PD171

    My 12rts just showed check engine light. Just checked code came up PD171 . What does this code meen ?

    Probably the code is P0171, because PD171 is not a valid code. P0171 is bank 1 too lean. Bank 1 is the front cylinder. Check all the standard stuff for vacuum leak or fuel system issues. Vacuum hoses to the MAP sensor. If you’re still on your original fuel filter, it’s time to change that anyway. A tank or two of injector cleaner. If the two vacuum hoses have never been replaced, start with them. Inspect rubber boot for the throttle body for cracks.

    Default Bummer.....

    Don't find PD171 but PO171 is a lean mixture problem in bank one. Could clear and your fine or it is in the injectors, fuel supply (filter) 02 sensor etc. Do you have any exhaust mods or fuel controlers..? it may be a newer code not updated to spydercodes...

    No exhaust or tuner mods. Vacume hoses have Ben done twice.ben awhile
