Default removing the "thing" in the tail

    Hi,

I dont know the name of "the thing" that holds the license plate....
But if you want to remove it, what was your solution for the plate?

Do some of you want to share a picture of their "new tail"?

    Regards
    Rob

Just a question - not judging.

It was bad enough for dust and dirt and rain coming up from the rear tire on our RTL - with the factory rear fender - that I made (as others have) an "extended" splash guard. You are running with literally "nothing" back there in the rain ?

Aesthetically It looks good to have nothing back there on a F3S, but it could work against you especially if you get crazy and fling rocks at who ever is behind you. I remember as a youngster, having an old rambler that had the rear fender gone. I peeled out once in a little gravel and a passing car had all its side windows broken out. Lesson learned at a young age.

Remove "the thing" so you can show off that big fat tire.

Nope, it isn't. He wanted to see different fenders so I posted mine (The Chopped Fender), and took the time to give you the link to what you were asking for.... ??
