Radio
I just purchased a new 2017 RT-S. I cannot get the radio to capture radio station and the system sounds weak. Any suggestions?

If you want to add XM radio cheaply:
Buy yourself an XM receiver. They can be had for about 50 bucks or less.
plug it in to the power port in the top trunk.
Get yourself an MP-3 cable sold by BRP (about 30 bucks..), and plug it into the rear sound system port.
Voila!

It is not THAT bad.
But getting the settings right is tricky.
See your dealer for help. There may actually be something wrong.
Some have found the antenna not connected.
Mine works fine for local stuff.
And what do you mean by "capture a station" ??
The AM side is terrible and there aren't a lot of strong AM stations left in much of the country.

Do not know how far from a station are, but I repeatedly can receive strong clear signals from station up to 15-20 miles away on a 2014 RT even WITHOUT an antenna attached.
So I disagree with the other posters.
If you are within 10 mile you should have ZERO problem receiving. If you do then there is something else in play.
