air compressor for tires
Hi, since our bikes have an onboard compressor could it be adapted to top off the tires or is it too small and if so maybe a bigger compressor would do. It would be a neat feature to have with you all the time.

Interesting....🤔
Though the compressor is controlled by the sensors if you could by pass that and have a direct switch could work. Now if they added that little feature it would be great with a pull out hose to reach all tires...

It keeps the spyder level and adjusts accordingly...if solo or double or if you add cargo it should level the spyder.

In theory you could run a hose from the Schrader valve on the air bag to a tire. As long as the air pressure was higher in the bag it would fill the tire. Then the compressor would refill the bag as the pressure dropped in the bag. Granted I doubt it would be very fast, or work for long before possibly killing the pump. I don't know if it would really be any better than just using an outside compressor, except in an emergency.

Yeah, that's part of my thought, is the compressor made for something like this or could a better one be installed to replace it. Again I don't know why something like this isn't offered when some vehicles already had an onboard compressor. Maybe mount a different one in some space somewhere. Thanks Mike

RT Compressor
The compressor does not operate unless the engine is running and the transmission is in first gear. It is not worth using the compressor for airing the tires when there are compressors like the one Lamont sells. It runs off a rechargeable battery, has a built in pressure gauge and the gauge can be set to a set pressure to automatically pump up the tire. This is a great feature for the front tire as they should be running the same tire pressure.
