    Default A Grocery Getter?

I'm loving my new mods so much that this week I drove in the rain to work and tonight I made a grocery store and WalMart run. You'd be amazed how much you can fit in the trunk! And all the thumbs up when folks saw me loading the trunk with my groceries. I was so proud of my Spyder........

So who needs coupons when you get 32 miles per gallon.

There is a drain plug in the bottom of the trunk.....so I guess that the answer is "Yes! Yes it is."

I went to Best Buy to by a GPS and my girl went to a closeout store next door. She bought a 13 piece pan and pot set. It all fit inside the trunk, I was amazed.

Yep. Without the Bushtec, we could get all our groceries in our two Spyders if one or both of us brought our Biker's Friend bag and we used my Givi bags and we were mindful of what we bought so as to not overload our carrying space. Since we've gotten the Bushtec, we can easily fit a full grocery carts worth of groceries in the trailer alone. I've sold the Givi bags since the trailer is such a capable cargo hauler.

I can fit a 40lb bag of dog food in the trunk of the Spyder. Comes in handy cuz I have three big hungry doggies at home and sometimes don't have the hubby home with the car.

I'm still trying to figure out how to bring home 2 large pizza's on the spyder. I guess I could bungee the boxes and secure them to the passenger seat in some way and hope they don't get blown off on the road.

Wow. I didn't read the limit. Let's see...an 18 pack of Mich Ultra bottles and 2 bottles of wine.... that's 18 x 12 oz plus 2 x ? How many ounces in a bottle of wine. then you have to convert to pounds.....surely can't be more than 40 pounds.....i'll think about that tomorrow.

I stopped at the local pub to pickup some goodies the other day.
I came out of the pub and popped the hood and a few guys came out of the pub to check it out. Theye where most disappointed to find there was no engine to see under the hood.

Been there. I didn't particularly care for the handling when getting that much weight on the Spyder but the Spyder still handled it.

Also, just a note, the small square pizza box does fit in the trunk and if you are nice, they will portion out the pizza and put in a couple of small boxes for you so you can take it home safely on the spyder. Or, just get a Bustec trailer and you take a whole bunch of large pizza's home with the spyder.

I would love a Bushtec trailer, but at the moment it won't happen any time soon...$$$$!
