    Default Reverse button sticking

I have a 2017 SE6 RT, today I noticed that when I would push the button to shift to reverse, it would kind of stick. I had to press right in the center, kind of hard to get it to shift. A week ago, I rode in the rain almost all day, would that have anything to do with it maybe. It seems like if I was to lube it some way with silicone spray or something it would be ok. Would it hurt anything to do that ?
    Thanks

U may wanna try using some rubbing alcohol ona paper towel and clean it. I use air compressor every once in a while to blow dust etc out of dash area. Good luck.

First thing your Spyder is made to go outside rain or shine. You have a 2017 I think the warranty is still valid, go see your consessionnaire he will solve your problem.

Or it a little piece of dirt that's in between the button -happened a lot on my gold wing.

Try some compressed air while depressing the button might help.

    BAD advice.
WD40 is NOT a good lubricant.
It dries sticky and will make situations like this worse, not better.

    Flush with alcohol.
    Blow out with compressed air.
Lubricate with a LITTLE bit of spray silicone if needed.

P.S. I just looked at mine (same model) and the button is nice and loose and moves a bit to the side if you push that way.
There is a rather wide space all around it though. Maybe you have some debris stuck in there ??
