    That is just crazy.... and they let anyone in.... there is a lot of claiming and retaining wall repairs to be done after that scenario....

    I believe that on those days, the 'if you break it, you bought it' rule applies, and yes, that DOES include the armco & safety fencing! And the Emergency Services helicopter evac & any on-site medical treatment doesn't come cheap either!!

    Ah Memories, I was stationed near there in the 80's, tiny little air base called Sembach, went up to the "Ring" a couple few times and over to Hockenheimring, once to see this kinda madness, then lines to get in were long.... And all of this was AFTER a pre race "Safety" lap

    My natural instinct would tell me to stay away from such events. I am pretty sure about "me," but cannot trust the "others." That's enough to keep me as a watcher.


    No racing at Daytona, Indy, or Spyderfest either.
