    Default Adapter cable

You can buy a 25 pin to lightning adapter. Make sure it is “charge and sync”, some of the cheaper ones will only charge.

Unfortunately BRP doesn’t have the newer lightning iPhone cable but Apple has an adapter to go from the 25 pin to the newer lightning connector. Also, not sure if it will show up in the dash like an iPod will.

I use my iphone 7 and my wifes iphone 6.
When you buy the adapter cable make sure it's the genuine Apple accessory because others have reported poor results with adapters other than the genuine Apple one.

    enjoy

Im using the $40 (+/-) 3.5 mm adapter and a $10 bluetooth transmitter (found on EBay/Amazon) to stream my music from my IPhone X. Music comes from the OEM speaker and or the Sena bluetooth head set. Good luck to you.

I am thinking of buying Bluetooth transmitter and was woundering. If you are listening to music from oem speaker and the phone rings does it come out the speaker or your sena headset. Can you pair the iPhone with transmitter and sena headset.

    thanks
