    Default Is there such a thing as Freecycling here on Spyderlovers.com?

    The cup holder has gone to its new home.


    Hi all, new guy here.
    Just bought a used 2010 RT-S SE5, and rode it around 150 miles to get it home. To Wisconsin.
    Anyway, wondering if there is such a thing as 'freecycle' here-abouts.
    Point being, basically giving stuff away to each other.
    My (wife's ) new ride came with a cup holder, which I'd be happy to give to someone who could use it.
    It attaches to the left side control group.
    Looks like ~$14 to ship it.

    You could list it in the 4Sale & WTB section. Just because the title says "For Sale" doesn't mean you can't give something away using that section. I'd put free or give away in the subject line.

    I had started a "Paying it forward" thread a couple of weeks ago... it sort of ended up dying from a lack of interest.
    If you can look back and find it: you can always try cranking it up again!

    most forums that have a thread of this nature make it a "sticky" so it doesn't get buried.
    It would be in the "For sale/Wanted" section
    here's an example -if you look, you can see some reasonable rules also
    "Sticky:
    Free Stuff - pass it forward"

    Seems that, with the positive response here, it might be a good idea.
