If you haven’t seen an Anniversary F3Ltd in person you’re missing out. It really is quite a beautiful bike. It is a different shade of black and the gold parts are done very nicely. Our friend, Yuma Jim, finally took delivery of his on Saturday night, we were there to add some bling to it.
Jim’s wife Mary pointed out that the wheels have Y’s on them, think Y technology of two wheels in the front. And the Y’s make 10 points, as in 10th Anniversary. The best part is you can actually check your tire pressure pretty easily on them.

When I looked at it in the sales brochure, I didn't like the color combination. When Bob did his video it looks really sharp. It's a beautiful bike
I saw them at Homecoming and wasn’t impressed either but they really did a nice job. They could have found gold wheel weights, they used silver ones, but they are cool.

So, what is this color black called? I really need to see one in person, but from the pictures, it appears to be close to the timeless black.
Cool. Now that will make 3 colors black that they have in the lineup.
Previously they had Timeless Black (which had metallic and a slightly dark grey tint), Steel Black metallic (which was a darker, truer back), and now "Jet Black Metallic".
I would like to see all 3 in the same area and compare.
I look forward to seeing those wheels in other colors than gold. Think black with a machined face will look great on that casting. We will likely see other versions of this wheel this fall for the 2019 accessories catalog.
Seeing the actual bike in person makes a big difference from the "picture" presentations. Color dyes from pictures do not necessarily match the paint scheme.
Previously : 2008 GS-SM5 (silver), 2009 RS-SE5 (red), 2010 RT-S Premier Editon #474 (black) Pictures of 2008 and 2009 Spyders are in Alaska Albums 2009 and 2010.

Bob, I would describe it as a brownish black, what do you think? I’m surprised that they would call it Jet Black as I think of that as totally black. Whatever it is called it looks nice.

That would make since with the gold trim pieces. I had a chance to ride with the person who purchased my 2014 RT last week. Kind of really made me lust after my old bike again. But I do like the riding position of my F3T much better.
