Went on a great ride yesterday with my friend Hypurone. We rode over to the coast to Bodega Bay and then went north on PCH to Stewart’s Point. The ride up to Stewart’s Point was amazing. The waves crashing on the rocks on the shoreline was a truely beautiful sight. We rested up a bit at Stewart’s Point at a place that has been there since the 1800’s. We the took the Tsunami Evacuation Route from Stewart’s Point to head for home. Road work crews were ahead of us doing a pretty crappy job of repairing pot holes in the road. There was a lot of asphalt flying as we tried to negotiate the road. While on this crappy part of the road we encountered a RT on our way out. Once we left the crappy road section the road improved greatly and it was a beautiful ride with the Northern California coast on one end and a ride through the redwoods along a creek on the way home. Really had a great day with my riding buddy Hypurone. He has some great rides in his portfolio. Only drawback was having to clean the sloppy asphalt all over the Spyder after running this road but the beauty of the scenery made it all worthwhile. All in all it was a fun ride with a good friend. Always fun to run with a friend. If you live in California you need to make this ride, it is amazing.
