Default Head light not on when running

Hi all. I have a 2011 RT Ltd and the head light does not come on at all on low beam. The heigh beam an flash works on the left hand side handle bar. How do I get the low beam to work - the manual say it should come on at around 800 rpm : nothing.
All info would be great full. Regards Dave

We in the US have a shutter system for H & L beams ..... I believe yours is a real twin filament bulb,( without the shutter system ) so I would check your fuses because they may have one for H & one for L ....... I think it would be a real co-incidence if both failed at the same time un-less you look to see if they are both on ....... good luck .... Mike

I have a 2010 RTS and my left headlight stopped working, so I had both replaced by dealership.

First guess is a disconnected wire.

Second guess. Relay R8 is not fully seated, corroded pin or defective. It is partly working. Just not in the normally closed position.

Nope, not a twin filament bulb. What we (US & Canada) use as a fog light the other countries use as the low beam.

I suspect a loose or burned out relay, or burned out low beam bulbs. There are separate relays for high and low beam which is why high can work but low not.
