    Default BRP Driver Backrest

Removing my BRP Driver Backrest from 2014 RT Ltd to put on new RT Ltd. It was installed by someone else and I don't know if those nuts under the seat are captive to the seat or are they installed when original installation is performed. I'm referring to the 4 nuts that hold the bracket which is screwed to the underneath of the seat.

    Default Seat Nuts

On my '16 RTL the nuts were fixed in the seat. Install the bracket with the supplied bolts. I installed my BRP Backrest on my standard BRP Seat. Good Luck.

Those nuts are in a small plastic holder (?) and can easily be damaged by to much force/pressure etc. So let the lok-tite do the job of holding the threads together ....... been there- done that ...... Mike ..........PS I changed the BRP torx bolts with 10mm hex heads ....they are so much easier to work with ......

I'll be swapping mine over into the bike also.
The Torx bolts seemed to remove okay; I get the impression that it will be an easy swap.

And this is the THIRD RT to use this backrest: I bought it used.
