    Thumbs up 3000/4800 mi checkup! w00t!

    I m extremely pleased. I had to travel a bit to get it done,like 80 miles one way, but Paulsons in Lacey,WA did a bang up job on the second checkup on ol' NO. 200. Adjusted the belt/rear tire alignment; changed the gear sensor, changed the parking brake mechinism, and adjusted all three shocks up one notch stiffer. Plus checked for any codes with the computer. After all was said and done,( I did opt out of the oil change.) they charged me the beastly sum of 58 bucks!

    When I got an extimate from a different dealer, he said it would be between 300 but probably closer to 500 bucks, including oil change. Huh. I didnt know an oil change costs a miserly 240 to 440 bucks!

    What a beautiful day for a ride! I cruised all the way down and back exceeding 70 mph. Twas a blast!

    So, I m good to go for the trip in June. Will change oil just before we leave.
    sidenote:
    I did almost spit out my mouthful of coffee when I grabbed a Spyder motorcycle license plate holder off the rack and looked at the price.
    Anyone have a guesstimeate?? I think its the most ridiculous price of any factory Spyder accessory to date!

    Did you check the dealer in Lynwood? He's on South WA Hwy 99? But $58 bucks! That's unheard of!
    2008 GS SE5 in 2008
    Traded at 43,000 miles for a left over
    2010 RT SM5 in 2011
    Traded at 57,000 for a left over
    2014 RTS SE6 in 2015, which has 35,000 miles
    Oct 19th, 2017, totaled 2014 RT while killing a Javaline
    Dec 12th, 2017 drove a 2017 F3L home. What an awesome machine!

    Never had any breakdown stranded issues.

    Got my 3000 mile service done today... $305.00 including tax. Gee, can't wait till the 6000 mile service when they have to check valve clearance.

    Thats the dealer with the 300 to 500 guestimate. Lynnwood Motoplex.

    I have no doubt I will be traveling the 80 mi trek in the future to see Paulsons.
