HID lights

Anyone know how long the bike has to be started for the HID lights to kick on? I just installed the HID kit. I turned on the key and gave the start button a click but the lights did not come on. The muffler is off the bike right now. so I did not want to start the bike but I gave it a quick couple second start but no lights. Do they need more time to kick on? The factory lights come on rights away. Any help would be great. Thanks

Hit the switch on the right bar and see if they come on.

The HID ballasts usually need to be run 5 seconds or so before the lights come up to full power.

To test the lights try holdng the right trunk light button down rather trying to start it.
