Default Anyone besides Doc trurbod one of these things?

In 08 I saw Doc's turbo installation and was impressed, but wondered how he would ever get traction. Anyone else gone this route?

Since he went through multiple engines and BRP refused warranty on the turbocharged blown engine, that may have discouraged some folks

Much discussion in the past but not a lot of current stuff. Might be less expensive to see what is in store for 2015, they will even come with factory warranty.

Only a few have done it that I have seen. I know Doc did his right by adding an aftermarket racing clutch ( another $900+) after eating his stock clutch at least once.

That makes your total investment $6k + installation. Not sure it is worth it.

I'd like to ride one to see , HP=SPEED costs money, think for 6k I'd look into a wrecked V4 aprilla and swap the whole thing over , dimensions are not much different then the currant VTwin and there over 160 HP if I remember correctly can't remember what that Aero charger kit gave ya and I don't think they still don't have them for 13 and newer yet.

Changing the engine may not let the nanny work at all . Would be just a regular bike no ABS , VSS , ABS ,or traction control and since the power steering is all computor controlled and they all talk to each other I order to work and probably be manual steering .Would take a lot of know how to incorporate the power plant and make all the other stuff work. Would be just like riding a real ATV on the street and having to use skill to ride it.

So who thinks there up for that challenge?

I've got the RSV doner. Picked it up from a friend who low sided it at the track and is now scared to ride. It's got some real nice mods too.
Find me a cheap spyder to put it in and we will get it done. Or drop off your 13'! [emoji12]

If you ride like an adult it's not a bad ride and no more unsafe than anything else. Don't believe everything you read....
    ABS would be nice though....

You can upset the nanny riding hard. You CAN ride hard and be responsible.
Funny though how people have the misconception that these 106 hp trikes are Unrideable without nanny control.
It couldn't be further from the truth.....unless the rider is just a very inexperienced rider or just a flat out moron...

On a side note, I wonder how aggressive Polaris is going to be with their stability control system? ??...

UNTRUE!! My nanny kicks in if I turn sharp and try to pull out into traffic. That is one of the most unsafe feelings I've ever had!
