Default Windshields for F3-S Only 7 JuRock

    Good Day

I currently have the BRP 129 windshield which is 16 inches from top to bottom on my F3-S. I am 5' 8" tall and I taped a ruler 11 inch higher than the BRP 129 windshield. That brought the height to 27 inches, I sat on my bike and i can see over the top about 2 inches. I think that is the right height for me. My question is, does anyone out there have the 27 inch JuRock windshield on there F3-S and about the same height as me. If so can you please give me feed back on if it blocks the wind noise. My issue with windshields is wind noise.

Or would the 25 inch work for my height?

Also how did the pre drilled holes on the JuRock line up with the stock BRP mounts, did you have to ream out the holes or re drill. I do not want to do any modifications.

    Greatly Appreciated

I can answer some of your questions. I'm 5' 11" and I chose the 27" 7JuRock w/Lip. I look over the shield which is what I wanted. The wind noise is virtually eliminated with the shield. At your height I believe you would be looking through the 27" shield and would have little to no wind noise.

To better determine what height to order try the procedure presented here...

The mounting holes on the 7JuRock lined up perfectly with the BRP brackets.

    Thanks for your input NHOJ
I could still see over the windshield with the mock setup I did using a ruler. I contacted 7JuRock and they sent me pictures of the dark grey which you can see through. They did mention that at night it is harder to see through, i don't ride at night so that is not a problem. My biggest issue is wind noise and I hope this fixes that problem.
They told me the 27" is the biggest seller.
I ordered the 27 inch in dark Grey, can't wait to get it mounted and then have my bike sit for 3 months waiting for the snow to go away LOL.

I don't understand why people buy motorcycles then don't want the wind. I have been riding since 1945 and lots of the enjoyment is the wind in the face. It gives a feeling of freedom and flying like no other machine can give. I do have a Madstad shield to protect me from the full body wind which at speeds is hard to cope with but overall if you don't like wind and a bit of noise stick with a car. Maybe a convertable will do.

Mr Bones nothing to understand, I have been riding motorcycles for 46 years so I know a little about wind noise. You being so knowledgeable then you should know that there is clean wind and dirty wind.

Dirty wind is a turbulent wind which creates wind noise. I have ran my F3-S without a windshield and there is no wind noise it was great but tired me out on long rides. I have no problems riding 12 to 16 hours a day on long rides.

So i put on a Route 129 windshield and it blocks the wind on the body great but created a hell of a lot of wind noise.
Don't go tooting your horn on this site and make idiotic comments telling people to ride in a convertible.

Why do you think every forum talks about windshields!

    I don't think he's tooting his horn.
He's stating his opinion just as you have stated yours.
If it's OK for you to do that, why isn't it OK for him to do the same?
It's a forum for pete's sake, people have and share differing opinions-one is no more correct than another.

I thought it went beyond an opinion, but that's only what I think.
You also have to admit, there is always a lot of discussion and buying going on when it comes to windshields. Can we all be off
    base ?

Default F4 Customs windshield for the F3S

Here is a video that was just completed by one of our dealers. I would suggest that our 28" would be great for you. Keep in mind the F4 Customs is made from High Optics Polycarbonate, Sheds Rain, and cleans with any glass cleaner and paper towels.
    The F4 is also adjustable.

Thanks for the information F4 Customs, I have looked at your product and it too is a great product. If you sold a F3-S windshield pre drilled that fit the BRP mounts then I would have probably bought one.

What he said. The F4 mounting system just doesn't compliment the overall Spyder look, just looks out of place.
