Anyone checked?
Haven't been here for a while, but just got to wondering, which can be dangerous. I am somewhat broad and deep and was just wondering, (there's that word again), has anyone ever checked the mileage on a 3 cylinder RT to see if there is a difference between stock windshield all the way up vs all the way down?

Not worth the effort IMO. Too many variables that would have to be replicated very closely in order to identify the precise impact of windshield height. Most important in the positioning of the windshield, again IMO, is how given positions feel to YOU when riding. Me, I prefer it down and raised just a tad off bottom stop -- rain or shine.
Artillery lends dignity to what would
otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

So apparently the answer to your question would be "no"

Does it matter?
Possibly it's time to get on your machine and try wandering instead of sitting home wondering.
