It was a real WTF moment for me, at the time.

It wasn't til the replays, that I could truly appreciate how clean of a shot, it was

All of SIX seconds (Yes, just SIX, ie 6 seconds) from the bell to the punch that did the deed & the fighter hitting the mat - the rest of the 11 seconds recorded in the books as the 'shortest ever knock-out' was the time it took for the Ref to react, realise that the guy on the mat was really unconcious, & then wave off the count!! And no-one could say the Ref was at all slow in taking that long either!! The bloke was well & truly unconscious for about 4-5 minutes too, it wasn't just a daze brought on by some well placed love tap!! He was OUT! Fight Over!! Let's all go home! Done & Dusted!

And some there had the hide to claim they were cheated of the show?!? When they can now boast that they were actually there when it happened?! I reckon they'll be drinking on that particular fight & story for many years to come!

I don't think it was a glass jaw - IIRC he was one of the top 10 World Bantamweight fighters at the time, if not the current World Champ??... regardless, he was certainly a contender, & nobody gets that high in the rankings with a glass jaw!!

It all came down to being a fantastic hit, blindingly fast, extremely powerful, & hooking around & over the guarding glove! Nothing really to denigrate on the bloke being knocked out, everything to applaud on the bloke doing the knocking!!
