Default PROBABLY A DUMB QUESTION BUT...

I may have left my key on and my Spyder is dead to the world. Can I jump it from my truck or do I need to put in on a charger, or trickle charger? I know a lot about Floorboards but not much about the electrical side of my '14 RT. Any help, I'm just trying to get it to my shop for the winter. It will then go on a trickle charger.

go ahead and jump it if your in a hurry, some say shut your truck off, after you get it running as soon as you shut it off put it on the charger.

You can jump it from a vehicle, but shut the vehicle off before you try and jump it.

Depends on how dead the battery is. Most modern chargers/tenders will not try and charge a battery that is less than 10V. In that case you may need to boost it first to get some charge into it. Then the slower the charge rate the better. So a battery tender plugged in for 2 days would be the best way to recover the battery. But then again if you do not want to mess around like that. Boost it and take it for a long drive. Then see if the battery is still alright when you get back.

Try a third-gear rolling start; why not?
