Time-Lapse Video of Spyder Unboxing
Here is a link to our video of a Can-Am Spyder being unboxed prior to assembly. This one is being prepped for a special customer so we thought it would be fun to visually document how the unit moves through our shop prior to being shipped.

That was fun....😆
Now you can see why they mostly are out of alignment and should be re-checked before dilivery. The wheels are off and the the hubs are bolted down. Best way to ship but something that should be checked on everyone going out of the dealership...jmo

I suppose they are tore down and crated after assembly and testing?

This is just the unboxing. There is assembly and prep coming next They are never torn down again, once they go through prep and inspection they are either put in the showroom, or placed in the shipping area to be loaded on the truck for delivery (ready to ride).

My post wasn't very clear when I re-read it. I meant when they are manufactured at the Can-Am plant, are they fully assembled, tested, then tore down for crating.
Sometimes what is very clear in my mind comes out a little unclear when I type it out!

I had an interesting discussion with Carlo about these videos. I did not realize that not every dealer will align the units after unboxing and assembly.

That is an incredible video! Thank you for sharing!
Out of curiosity ... how many Spyders do you folks sell in a year, and what percentage are sold "away" from your dealership i.e. shipped elsewhere?

Excellant, thank you for taking the time for making the video.
It does appear to me that the fellow doing the work may be large enough that you could forgo the liftruck assistance, thereby saving some set up overhead.

I don't know the exact numbers. We sell quite a few outside of Illinois.

Thanks for the videos guys!!!!
Two questions though. Do you have an unboxing video of an RT? And is a laser alignment part of your dealer prep? Thanks.
