plug and play LED
Question for those of you that had added the ground effect LED lights? I am by far no electrical pro but is it as easy as they say plug and play or do you have to run wires everywhere?
Thanks in advance for your feed back

Not exactly sure what you're asking, but you'll certainly need to run wires from wherever you mount the lights to wherever you plan to access power for the plug n play connection. The electricity surely isn't gonna "jump" from the plug to the lights without a wire in between. If you're referring to the term plug n play, then yes, it means that the wires are meant to plug in at a certain junction in a harness, with a bridge to the original wires and your accessory.

The ground effect lights are easy to install just watch where you place them. We installed them for a customer and promptly ruined the longest strip by putting the jack over the strip

I also make mine own using bulk rolls of led strips and wire. But there are a few companies that make puck like lights with harnesses. I just found it much cheaper to do it myself. There are plenty of vendors out there that will install led lights for you. Spyderquest, Maggie Valley, ETC....
