Tire question again...sorry in advance
I get the feeling that lots of folks put different brands of tires on the front and the rear.
Given the opportunity, does anyone see why the same brand can't be used on front and rear?
I am changing the front hubs, and my rear is about worn out, so I could use 3 tires.
Was thinking Altimax RT43's.
Any comments would be welcome.

Well....
Not sure but it is mostly the fact that the sizes are not available for both front and rear in the same brand. I prefer to have all the same and if you can find them then go ahead and get them...

Good riding,
I have not first hand experience on the subject but have been reading all that I can on this site about car tires on the Spyder.
Personally, I will be more comfortable with using the stock tire sizes so my choice will be Kumho on the rear in the stock size and bridgestone on the front in the stock size.
Let us know what you decide to do.

[/QUOTE].... those tires and sizes are EXACTLY what I have ( except 15in front ) .... they are fantastic and long wearing ........ On different tread pattern - they MUST match on the SAME axel , that is the only criteria I have ever learned .... even different sizes front to rear won't matter .... Mike
