Remove Tupperware for shock replacement?

I have new shocks coming tomorrow. Will I have to remove any of the tupperware to access the upper shock bolt?

I just changed my 2016 F3 T to the Elka's. If your hands are smaller there is no problem accessing the upper shock bolt. I struggled with both uppers but finally was able to work through it. The lower bolts no issue at all. Good luck,

I installed BajaRon shock adjusters on my 2013 ST-S.
Had to take the shocks out to perform the installation.
My hands are XL and I had very little trouble getting the top bolts out of the bike.
BajaRon has great installation instructions for the shocks.
As I recall the trick with installation of the top bolt is to install it backwards.
No tupperware needs to be removed.

Like Haze said reinstall the top bolt backwards. Ron has a trick where you use double sided tape on the nut then start the bolt and pull on it to stick the nit to the frame. Then you don't have to worry about dropping the nut.

It is easier if you pull the two center panels. Also if you remove the forward bolt on the rectifier and loosen the rear one so you can swing it over to get the upper left bolt out.

Thanks for the help everybody. Replaced the shocks yesterday. I found it easier to just remove the tupperware and have easy access to the upper shock bolt. Also while in there, I lubed the four zirk fittings. I like my new Fox shocks.

I love knowing stuff about our Spyders ( all spyders ) ....and I suggested removing the Panel that covers the Top of the shock ( only that one ) ...... so how many panels did you have to remove ???? ........Thanks .... Mike
