Can't save Radio Channels/find tone adjustment - what am I missing?

I have a 2024 RT Limited and read the Owners Manual from cover to cover. Can't find how to save a radio station, the touch screen shows five places to store stations but are grayed out, And can't find and tone controls for Bass and Treble. Am I missing something ?

Find station then press-and-hold preset 1,… and it will store it.

I tried doing that but all the presets are lightly grayed out !
