Hello all spyder lovers,
I am a happy new owner of 2017 Limited Spyder RT. I was lurking on this forum for a while, this is a great forum with lots of information.
My inseam is 31 inches and I would like to get in addition of the LaMonster FBB Highway Bracket a chrome Kuryakyn Dually Trident ISO-Pegs KYN-7567.
Is here another spyder lover with shorter legs happy with the LaMonster FBB brackets? Can I rest my heals on the pegs, will my feet reach that far? I would preffer this bracket over the NBV as I don't think I could stretch my legs straight on those. I contacted LaMonster and they would say yes, so I want to make sure before I place an order.
Thank you
I have the same inseam and I'm very stiff. I tried the FBB and found that I had to spread my feet farther apart that I was comfortable with. I then installed the NBV and love them.

Thanks for all the responses.
I noticed some Spyder Lovers not liking the leg spread. I actually prefer it, it gives me more air not feeling the heat from the engine in the hot weather as badly.
Here are the FBB brackets installed, I'm very happy I purchased this style. I have now four positions to have my feet in.
Ordered this exact set up a couple of days ago. They look awesome. Can't wait to put them on.

If I could recommend to simplify the installation. I parked the front wheels on car ramps. I clamped the FBB brackets to the floor boards and marked the two bottoms with a permanent marker. Than I pre-drilled the holes from the bottom with a small drill, no need for an angle drill this way. And than drilled the pre-drilled holes with 1/4" from the top; and than screwed them together. The bracket won't move this way as on their vid. My pics don't have the Lamonster nuts on yet as I wasn't sure the position of my pegs are what I want, but they ended up in just the position I needed.

So I installed my FBB brackets today. Here is the breakdown of the install:
1 hour in Home Depot debating about buying a new Makita angled drill which saved me $140
15 minutes clamping left side bracket to footboard and "guestimating" first hole (got lucky) by drilling from the top. Ended up over tightening the screw and breaking it off. Decided my luck was wearing thin and it was not going to happen 3 more times
45 minutes round trip driving to Tractor Supply to buy 5 matching nuts and bolts and car ramps totaling $40
20 minutes putting the bike on the ramps, clamping the brackets, drilling the holes, bolting the pegs on and comfort fitting.
40-minute test ride with one huge grin
So all in all, not a bad project but it could have turned real ugly, real quick.

Sorry to hear about the small trouble you had Richzim275. Glad to hear it ended up to your satisfaction.
Its the best to wedge the car ramps against a wall or something to stop them from moving.
My better half tends to overtighten the screws; therefore, I’m the one finishing all of them, not only my bike, but his as well, and everything that needs fixing in the house. I like handywork, I can look with a pride at the results many days, weeks and months later.
