    Default THANK YOU F4 CUSTOMS!!!

I just had to pass along my experience with F4 Customs.

    Little background…

I have a F4 Customs stock tinted windshield.
Last year while traveling down the highway a truck going in the opposite direction kicked up a rock around the size of a silver dollar which struck my shield. The F4 windshield performed as advertised, adsorbed the rock strike without breaking or cracking and the only damage was a small chip in the impact area.

    Fast forward to last week…

After sizing up the location of the rock strike I decide that installing a vent would be ideal to remove the area where the chip is.
I contacted Don Frank at F4 Customs to get some advice on the vent location and as a side note I asked about some blotching I have on the lower part of my windshield wondering if it may be the tint coming away from the shield & specifically stating that the windshield was 2 years old and I was not looking for anything except his opinion on the cause of the blotching.
The following is the response I received…

Kevin the tint is all the way through the shield but this could be a coating issue. The shield is under a limited warranty even with the rock strike. Give our office a call and talk to Alicia and she can tell you when you purchased it and what the warranty is.

I contacted Alicia yesterday morning and was told that it was a delaminating issue with the coating and that they were going to replace my windshield free of charge no questions asked!!!
In this day & age, what company steps up to the plate and takes care of their customers like that???

    F4 CUSTOMS DOES!!!

I want to thank Don & Alicia for the outstanding customer service and I look forward to dealing with F4 Customs for ALL my future windshield needs!

    Very nice!

If you're wanting the vent, maybe you pay the difference and get a vent. Doesn't hurt to ask.

I'd already ordered a vent before I found out I was getting a replacement.
I might install it into the new shield, haven't decided yet.
The whole idea of the vent was to remove the rock chip...

I've done business with Don & Alicia since my GL1800 Hannigan Trike days('09-15). Don't know why it took me 2+ years(4/'15- 7/'17) to seek his advice on the wind buffeting my wife was experiencing as a passenger on my '15 RTLimited. Purchased a clear +3 Wide and Light Tint/No Scratch Baker Air Wing Uppers. For whatever reason(s) UPS took exceedingly long to deliver my F4 package. Alicia proved to be a good hand holder, and was ready to resend another package if necessary. Thankfully my order arrived and I got everything installed. Linda is a much happier camper in her passenger perch. I will just add my heart felt kudos to all the praises stated regarding the Customer Service before, during and after the sale by Don and Alicia.

    Thumbs up

Glad everything worked out. That's service at the optimal level.

We just recently mounted a 32" shield on our F3S.

    Here's a quick video clip.

The only sure way of getting rid of bad habits is to create good ones.
AND, by the way, this will not happen on auto pilot.

    It's time for a YOU-turn!!!
