Traded in my Valkyrie Interstate for the 2015 RT LTD, but still have the Aero 750 for buzzing around town when I am riding by myself. The wife encourages me to ride the Aero when I am one-up because the Spyder is meant for "two." LOL

    Thumbs up V-MAX

Recently sold my Honda Valkyrie, a great and very torquey motorcycle.

Still have a Yamaha V-Max. Love that V-Boost.

Yes I kept my '06 Yamaha RoadStar 1700S & alternate every 3rd tank of gas (3tanks on Spyder to 1 tank on star) Helps keep me familiar with forward controls & a clutch, I let it sit like the first 10 months & was surprised how much I almost forgot. Not gonna let that happen after all I've been through & thank the LORD
I can still do (read my profile info 4details) so I'm happy to enjoy, plus it's good to have the beginnings of a motorcycle stable "Collection"

There again, if BRP would only release something better suited; maybe a touch narrower, with a fair bit more ground clearance, capable of running better tires & drive systems suitable for on/off road tracks, & with a bunch more low revs poke/gearing, then I just might be tempted into trying some 'reverse trike off roading'?!? As it is, my 2013 RT Spyder sees a fair bit of good dirt & gravel roads, as well as thousands of miles of chip-seal black top!! But for the real 'off the beaten track' stuff, atm I'm back on 2 wheels for at least one day most weeks!

Would anyone else be interested in an 'Adventure Spyder'? Maybe a production version of that yellow off-road concept Spyder that's hit the boards every once in a while? Whaddaya reckon??
Yep you've got A LOT of those sorts of roads:-) When I was over there I had a Honda CR250 which wasn't really up to distance riding. Did get me around quite a bit but even so I never managed to get out of NSW.

The problem I've tended to find on the Spyder is when you hit hills on the gravel road, the back wheel struggles for traction and that causes nanny to keep stepping in when I rather she didn't. Particularly a problem when you get those horizontal bands or bad grading at it causes the back wheel to jump and nanny hates that.

I still have and ride my 2008 Victory Vision (see avatar). Bought the RT because the wife "would feel safer on 3 wheels", so it's the 2-up ride. Solo, I'm on the vision.

I still have my two wheeler. It is a 2009 Suzuki 650 VStrom with 28,000 miles on it. the Dr. from Germany installed over $9,000 in upgrades. He bought every single Touratech piece that they sold. It is running great yet at these low miles it should be!

I was on two wheels before the Spyder. Traded my 2 wheel in on our first Spyder (2012 RTL)....took me about 2+ years to realize I miss the 2 wheel riding!! So...got the wing. We plan on keeping both bikes for many years...both are great bikes!

    Default Two Wheels

I still have my 2008 Kawasaki Concours 1400 for riding solo. I love that bike. So refined in so many ways. However, as I get older and my legs keep getting shorter, that beast is just getting to be a little too much. And no, I won't put lowering links on it. Might go to the "dark side" and get a midsized cruiser for my two-wheeled fix.

The RT-S is perfect for when Mama wants to go, and that's getting to be pretty much all the time.

I still have my 49cc scooter that has been modded to go 65mph and torqed up to maintain speeds going up large hills. I am one of the few still working in this forum and this is my daily commute and when I have to go downtown Denver to meetings or to the Rookies games I just park on the sidewalk in front and walk in. Cant beat it.
