hello all, new spider owner
Hello everybody,
Just wanted to introduce myself and say thanks for having me. I rode street bikes for awhile but then stopped and stayed with cars. I live in eastern Oregon, married, all the kids are grown and gone so I'm hoping me and the wife will be able to get out and take many long trips. I looked at the many times and then finally decided to take the plunge and dawn my riding gear once more and picked up a 2012 RT limited in lava bronze. I am more into just cruising so I stayed away from the sport version. I have taken it on a few little trips so far but my first major trip will be to levenworth WA in the middle of September. My only complaint so far is It seems to lean quit a bit in the corners, a bit to soft for my liking but other than that it has been a blast. I joined here cause I have learned forums are always full of useful information, and people are usually willing to help. I already read the manual from cover to cover as well. Hope to see you all on the road.

Welcome to the community. Sounds like an after-market stiffer sway bar is in order. Lots of threads on here about that.

. I have the same Spyder as you. Come down to Southern Utah in September to Red Rock Spyder Rally. It will be a great trip for you all.
I have the same Spyder as you tho I have the tan seat. As to the body roll check and make sure your front shocks are adjusted as stiff as they will go. If not there is a tool in the factory tool kit under the seat that will help you adjust them. Next step is to look on the home page for Baja Ron and get one of his anti sway bars. Do lots of riding and post early and post often, pictures are always welcome.

A great place with great people packing great resources.
Enjoy your new ride!!!
HAND'S UP:
The only sure way of getting rid of bad habits is to create good ones.
AND, by the way, this will not happen on auto pilot.
It's time for a YOU-turn!!!

Welcome welcome....
To both the spyder world and this awesome site. Congrats on the new ryde... as mentioned shock adjustment and swaybar will help. Do the adjustment first then ryde some begore you move on to the bar. If those two don't fix it for you the next step are new shocks. Just touring should not need to do it all...

Welcome and Congratulations on your getting into the Spyder 'Verse! If that little Yellow Jacket beauty in the background is yours too, You already know you're blessed. Ride On, Ride On, Ride On.
+1 on the checking Shock adjusters and BajaRon Bar if you don't have one, changes the cornering (kinda like that Mopar) completely.
I see you've already got the SEAL floorboards, I've been trying to convince a buddy with pegs on his 2012 to consider those..

Congrats & Welcome! While farkleitis may strike, in addition to the stiffer sway bar I strongly suggest a bump skid from Spyderpops to protect the underside of that beautiful machine. Ride safe!

otherwise be a vulgar brawl.
