As near as I can tell: I smacked down hard over just at the base of my right shoulder blade. My head didn't make any dents in the rocks, so I think that it never did anything to break my fall...
So I feel like crap, and I think that I've got a busted rib or two (No emergency yet...) I'm sort of taking it day by day with the pain.
But we DID set up for some driveway camping! [/QUOTE
Geez Bob, been away for a few days, come back and see that you've taken a backwards swan dive off a ladder! Bubble wrap.....I'm thinkin' a BIG roll of bubble wrap. My Honey fell off a ladder last year - - it seems he thought it was better for him (69 years old) to get up on a 2 1/2 story roof instead of the younger (35 yr old) EMPLOYEE that he told to HOLD THE LADDER and as he was falling - he heard said employee TALKING ON HIS CELL PHONE...... I still don't know how he managed to walk away with only a a few sore ribs and a H-U-G-E bruise that covered one side of his body, but he did. Needless to say, we had, shall we say, a long conversation (okay, more than a "conversation") because this was what I really wanted to do to him) and it was mutually agreed NO MORE CLIMBING ON LADDERS. Said employee, by the way, was "promoted" to "shovel operator" for the remainder of the summer. And that's what I wanted to do to him, too - - MEN!!!
But seriously, congratulations on FINALLY getting the new toy - - man, that's quite a rig! And what a story; but I'm sure it will all be a worth it when you're traveling and enjoying trips during the upcoming fall season. Hope you're on the mend and ready to "ROLL." So NOW, you're in waiting mode AGAIN for the "other" new toy! But once you get the F3, you'll be set! Drive it in good health!!!
(Sorry to hear about your Dad and his health. Both my parents are gone now - Mom passed in January and it's been a blessing she's no longer suffering, but hard because your Mom is the first person you loved. May God bless you all.)
Another request from a vision impaired reader. I already have the screen size set to 125% and have much difficulty trying to read. One look, and I gave up on this one. Sorry.

[QUOTE=vided;1298121]That was my comment. If folks are THAT vision-impaired maybe they should consider having someone else drive.
BTW, I'm 70 years old...don't need to patronize me.

Goodness, gracious me. If we eliminated all the posts that I consider unnecessary, including yours, this forum would hardly be recognizable in its present form.

I'm saying ... if you're going to use large font, don't go blaming it on someone else's supposed vision problems ... just own up to your choices

As President Reagon would say "..there you go again..." , being patronizing. If Bob feels I'm hijacking this thread, which has been off-topic for a very many posts now, then he will let me know and I will respect that. But, I don't think it's your place to decide what is and isn't appropriate.

I'm fairly new here and one of the things I realized right off is how you frequently interject a comment into a discussion, one that contributes nothing to the discussion other than tweaking others and then turning the original discussion into something different.

I think that most stuff is done in "2"...
But I have trouble with anything less than "3", so I just grab my magnifying glass...
