Anyone considering claiming more than one mortgage interest should verify this with their tax advisor but it was legal not too long ago. I believe the federal limitation was two homes at that time. States with income taxes might differ.
As for snowbirds, AZ pro-rates your income tax based upon the amount of time you spend here (partial year residents). This assumes you have taxable income in AZ. Other states may do things differently.
License plates are issued for one or two years (or permanently in case of trailers) but there are no exceptions for partial year residents. If their primary home is in another state they are allowed to keep those plates.
My advice too--talk to a tax advisor who is at least a practicing CPA to make sure you are legal in your particular endeavor. I might even suggest a second opinion.
Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.
I'll get you all some pictures: I promise!
But Friday evening we were picking apples in our tiny 4 tree orchard, and I took a nine-foot backwards fall off of a ladder...
As near as I can tell: I smacked down hard over just at the base of my right shoulder blade. My head didn't make any dents in the rocks, so I think that it never did anything to break my fall...
So I feel like crap, and I think that I've got a busted rib or two (No emergency yet...) I'm sort of taking it day by day with the pain.
But we DID set up for some driveway camping!
Maybe you should go ATGATT while you pick apples, Bob! I hope you'll recover soon.

That looks great! And you've got it all set up to party in your driveway! Now you'll have somewhere to put up all the visitors to your place! Are you taking reservations?
For that three minutes that I was falling backwards (It sure FELT like that long! ): I did remember to keep my head rolled forward, and try to spread out the impact across my back.
I did land pretty flat! Kind of like a "cow-patty""
It's gonna be tight... but do-able!
I've been in contact with other RT owners, and even a Tri-Glide owner: they all DO fit...
The T-G is even an inch longer than our bikes!

Bob, if you need any tie downs, I highly recommend these two sites. I bought a bunch of different configurations for my enclosed trailer to secure the Spyder and the 622 trailer to the etrack with the exact ends I wanted. They were very reasonable and great to deal with.

i certainly understand what you mean when you say "it's a tight fit"..!And I have to back mine in tooo ..! But as long as it fits, that's all that matters and it doesn't exceed the load limit.

(It fits even better, when it's on the wheels... )
Question: did you need to use any extra ramps to lessen the attack angle?
i had to attach 3 -12in. Post that I attached to the top outside edge of the ramp door then get a heavy duty piano hinge to be able to swing out a 4 ft. extension to my ramp. That made the break over angle work. I haven't taken a pic yet but I will next time I have it out.

A small hint:
If you have Etrack and you pull the machine in first and then attach an anchor to the center track for the back wheel..........you might want to take the center anchor OFF before pulling it out. Mine made a horrible scraping noise going across that anchor; was fine with it off.
I'm afraid to look and see how bad the scratch really is.
By the way: what rig is that? I see a sink and some other goodies that tells me that it's a major upgrade to what we've got...
its nothing fancy at all. It's a 30ft. toyhauler that uses the rear dining area as the garage area. I've owned it for 2years now and have used it for 9 trips so far. Works well for us so far.

Bob, you can always use it as your office, so that way you should get close to the six months needed for a tax deduction

Geez Bob, been away for a few days, come back and see that you've taken a backwards swan dive off a ladder! Bubble wrap.....I'm thinkin' a BIG roll of bubble wrap. My Honey fell off a ladder last year - - it seems he thought it was better for him (69 years old) to get up on a 2 1/2 story roof instead of the younger (35 yr old) EMPLOYEE that he told to HOLD THE LADDER and as he was falling - he heard said employee TALKING ON HIS CELL PHONE...... I still don't know how he managed to walk away with only a a few sore ribs and a H-U-G-E bruise that covered one side of his body, but he did. Needless to say, we had, shall we say, a long conversation (okay, more than a "conversation") because this was what I really wanted to do to him) and it was mutually agreed NO MORE CLIMBING ON LADDERS. Said employee, by the way, was "promoted" to "shovel operator" for the remainder of the summer. And that's what I wanted to do to him, too - - MEN!!!
But seriously, congratulations on FINALLY getting the new toy - - man, that's quite a rig! And what a story; but I'm sure it will all be a worth it when you're traveling and enjoying trips during the upcoming fall season. Hope you're on the mend and ready to "ROLL." So NOW, you're in waiting mode AGAIN for the "other" new toy! But once you get the F3, you'll be set! Drive it in good health!!!
(Sorry to hear about your Dad and his health. Both my parents are gone now - Mom passed in January and it's been a blessing she's no longer suffering, but hard because your Mom is the first person you loved. May God bless you all.)
