This RT Limited was purchased for $31,000 in 2013, and now has only 700 miles on it!
That's right, less than 1000 miles! It's extremely comfortable with it's electronically adjustable suspension, and extremely stable due to it's electronic stability system. It's also very easy to operate being it's equipped with the semi-automatic transmission. The 4 piece luggage set still has it's tags on it! Also a $400 Cam-am fitted soft fleece lined cover comes free with the purchase of the bike. The color is a gorgeous metal-flaked black with a deep burgundy undertone. Always garage kept and still being broken in!
Loaded options include:
12-spoke chrome front rims
Garmin Zumo 660 GPS integration with bluetooth capability, needs display
AM/FM audio system with Ipod cable
Embroidered Spyder embroidered RT Limited heated seat for driver and passenger with lumbar
Heated driver hand grips with controls
Heated passenger grips with controls
Chrome trim thoughout the entire bike
Powered adjustable windshield
12v power outlet kit
Electronic cruise control
Trailer plug
Passenger stereo controls
Electronically adjustable rear air suspension
Front fenders with LED lights
Rider footboards
Fog lamps and LED accent lights
Front cargo light and liner
Push-button electronic front cargo release
998cc Rotax V-twin engine
41 gallons of storage
Vehicle stability system
This amazing piece of machinery is about as clean as you're going to find just rolling off the showroom floor! Bike still being ridden here and there so mileage may go up a little. Save yourself over $12,000 with this bike over buying new and get the same bike with the same options with the same quality!
So that cost you roughly $17 per mile. Good luck with your sale.

I appreciate your opinion. This bike has been very well taken care of. Approximately 175 miles per year, oil changed every end if season, greased, etc. I do have obo on the ad, which means or best offer if you're not aware.

I understand OBO. But, when your asking price is about $2k too high to begin with the knowledgeable Spyder owners on this forum aren't going to take you seriously.
As most active forum members are already aware, the 2013 was subject to a number of recalls. You haven't said whether those have been taken care of.
Next, although low miles, the warranty on the bike has expired because of age. That devalues it greatly from a 'new' 2013.
Most of all, though, it's the last of the 998cc - powered RT's. All the newer model years have the 1330cc 3-cyclinder engine, which is better suited for the cruising / touring an RT is designed for. Thus, it's considered by many to be less desirable and valuable than it might otherwise be.
Lastly, you're not doing yourself any favors on this forum with your snarky response to long-time member and forum sponsor Anne.
What is it with you man? I've owned, built, raced and maintained more bikes than you probably will ever have owned in your entire life. Unless you want to buy this Spyder, get off the thread! If you don't I will contact the mediator to remove you for interfering with possible sales.
Have you had the heat recall done on your bike? From the pictures, it doesn't look like it. Please advise. Also, is there an extended warranty on it?

No scoops on the tupperware, and you can see that the wind deflectors are still in place. So to my way of thinking, the recall work was not done, which lowers the value even more. I mean, the recall work was done for free, so why not do it?

I'm guessing he bought this cheap at an estate sale or auction and is trying to make a quick buck off it.

700 miles in 4 years? What was he thinking when he bought it?

I doubt he was the original owner. More likely he inherited it, got it cheap at an estate sale, or something similar. He's obviously not experienced with Spyders, although he claims a life of owning, building and racing other motorcycles.
So that cost you roughly $17 per mile. Good luck with your sale.

Just doing the math bud. As the others have pointed out to you, you aren't pulling the wool over our eyes with your sales pitch. You really ought to get that recall work done before you sell this machine. You wouldn't want this to happen to someone. spyder fire.jpg

look the guys trying to sell the bike, if you are not interested & he doesn't want opinions then respect him & butt out
Respect is a two way street. He jumped all over SpyderAnn, a very well liked and respected member, with a couple of snarky replies and it all went downhill from there. Say what you will about her comment, I don't think it deserved the replies that followed. Personally, I thought almost the exact same thing when I read the OP's listing. I just hadn't done the math.
By the way, she also wished him luck on the sale in the same post.
On the road again...........and forever young!
