    Saw this all over the media and have to say...that is the ugliest, IMO, of all the attempts.. Alfa Romeo grill and all. Bummer cause it is a good looking bike. I think if they all stop keeping the whole bike and just removing the front forks and design and whole new vehicle with their powerplant and acc they could come up with a hit....

    It is ugly..........but I would take one for a test drive!

    Personally: I'd LOVE to see some Reverse-Trike builds on their bigger bikes...

    I like the look and technology built into the Indian motorcycles and I like the look that they have evolved into. This thing could grow on me personally..!

    None of these bike to trike conversions appeal to me. They all look like some "hack job" done in Frankenstein's garage over beers. Spyders OTOH look so much more integrated, like somebody actually gave a thought to balancing the front and rear styling.

    There needs to be more competition in the Reverse Trike market. It will give consumers more choice and will cause manufacturers to listen and react to their customers or they will drop by the wayside.

    I'm not impressed with the styling overall either. These converted bikes all suffer from the same front end awkwardness. I would also suspect they suffer from a bike that handles/rides OK but since the total design wasn't engineered as a unit then OK is about as good as its going to get. In order to fully design and stylize a reverse trike it needs to be done as a complete unit. For example.. on this particular bike the engine and tranny need to be pushed forward quite a bit allowing the nose to be shorter and the seat to be longer. (my opinion anyway)

    There are some things I like about it.
    • It has real handlebars
    • The mechanicals (engine, tranny, suspension) are out in full view (not hidden behind layers of plastic)
    • Its got a "bare bones" feel to it


    All that said. I don't think the RT or the F3 would win any beauty contest themselves.


    If anyone can build a reverse trike that is a direct competitor to the Sypder its Polaris. Doesn't matter if they sell it under the Indian name or the Polaris name. They have the ability and probably the most "guts" to actually do it. I wish they would. BRP is only going to bring better products when it has a competitor to push them.

    Damn thats beautiful and probably well built. Gonna sell my Spyder TODAY so I may ride an original "Indian".

    At least I can sit in the service area with the two guys I know who have constant oil leaks. Good times ahead.
