F3T Dash Vents
Does anyone have any idea what is the reason for the vents of both sides of the storage box in the dash? It look to me that they do not connect to anything. Are they just there for looks? I'm thinking of making a dash pouch but it would have to cover them in order to work.

For the first 2 weeks of my F3T ownership, they served as a home for spiders. Each night spiders would build their webs in that area, and then when I would hit the road, the wind would blow the spider webs back and into my area. For some reason, after the 3rd. week, they stopped.

They are for venting heat. Try putting something in that area as you ride and see how warm it gets.

Yank the dash cover off. See where the void goes. I'm sure it is to allow heat to escape. There are tankbags available.
