Bummer...
Must have started going sideways...happens when one gets to where sides are chosen. It would never happen if you poll seats, windsheilds, gas, tires or oil but get way off topic and opinions flare...����
If it is the poll one you posted that one is still up...

My first 'corporate' job was at General Dynamics/Ft. Worth. They make the F-16.
I hired in Oct. 1981.
Not long after starting at GD/FW, I met a guy with a strong 'English' type accent. Remember, I am a Texan and I could tell the difference between English, French, Chinese, accents back then. But, not different "English" accents. (Texan ain't English)
I asked him if he was from England. He said no, he was born and raised in near Marfa, Texas.
I was confused. How could he be from Texas and sound like that?!?!?!?!
So, I asked him what was his accent.
He said 'Australian.'
More confused - - -
So, I asked another question: 'How did a guy from Texas get an Australian accent?'
He said his parents owned a large sheep station back in Australia. They decided to move it to the US before he was born.
No only did they move their 'sheep station' to the US, but they moved all of their 'sheep' hands (cow hands??), too.
The sheep station was a long way from town (Marfa). He said he never heard anyone speak, other than folks with an Australian accent, except when his family went to town once a month. Hence, the Texas Australian accent!!
