New guy from North Alabama
Morning folks. This is my first Spyder (f3-S) and I must say, it is different from anything I have ever ridden. 51 years on a motorcycle, it is going to take some getting use to. Any way I hope I don't ask too many questions. Thx

Welcome from Central Washington. You are gonna love the Spyder; I came from the same place on 2 wheelers a little over 2 years ago and have never looked back. Ask away, good folks on here to help you out.

You are gonna love...
... your new Spyder. I'll add - be sure to read the "Dos and Donts" posting... http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/s...-Spyder-owners - I learned a lot from that. Welcome to SpyderLovers!

Welcome from Hazel Green. I'm still getting used to the Spyder also. I have thought about getting rid of it and going back to Harley, but after riding all this week in the rain I may have changed my mind. Its the only ride I have after bending my tie rod on my Jeep rock crawling a couple weeks ago.

How many miles does it take (avg.) before an x-biker gets used to the seemingly sensitive steering..? Especially in curves ..!

That sucks! I traded in my JK with a 4" lift and Mickey Thompson 35's a couple years ago... and I miss it sooo!!! Well, I don't miss it when I have to drive on the interstate, but other than that... I LOVED that vehicle. Are you by chance a member of any of the local jeep groups?

Me and a couple buddies started Rocket City Wranglers about a year ago or so. We have over 400 members now, and do a ride about once a month and an annual offroad driving class for new Jeep owners that join us.

About 300+. I came off a 99 Electra Glide and have 1000 or more on the RT I inherited from my dad. I'm starting to like it a little more, but it is taking a while.

I saw a video online of a spyder build that a shop in Tennessee did for a girl from Madison. It was GORGEOUS!!! I am keeping my eyes peeled for her when I am out and about.

Depending on the day I could probably squeeze in a meet and ride.
