Default Got the new RT today.

    Hi folks,
Just a follow up note to say we got the new RT today. Extraordinary machine. Will need a week - or two, to just learn how everything works. "Although"......... I did have a PMPM (AKA: poop my pants moment) on the first highway curve. Been riding two wheels for the better of thirty years. Surprise time going around the first tight sweeper on the road. Turned the right way - just never expected that much G-force. Did learn to relax the grip from the do's and don't section (thank's). Still A LOT twitchier than a two wheeler. All in all, a good ride bringing it home from the dealer.

Baloo is my name. Spyders are my game. Well, it's a doo-bah-dee-doo, yes, it's a doo-bah-dee-doo, I mean a doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee-dee-doo. And, well, now. Ha ha! What have we here?

..... ..... I think the people who have NEVER driven a two mtc. learn to drive a Spyder a lot quicker because they get on and drive it like they drive their Car .......... and they don't have to un-learn the whole two wheel thing ..... take it slow ..... It handles a lot better than you think it does right now...... Mike

    Default Welcome & Congrats!

and on your new RT. It does take some time to get acquainted with a new Spyder....you'll do fine. Check out the Do's and Don'ts. Also, never back up quickly and turn the wheels, you may tip it....be careful at first and you'll have a great time.

After riding your Spyder for awhile....you maybe saying that the 2 wheelers are A LOT twitchier than a Spyder!!!

    Enjoy!

    Default Time to ACCESSORIZE!!

You are going to want to get some things now! I would start with the bumpskid plate (with LED's!!). It is hard to gauge where your nose is, and the first time you hear a "scrunch" and scratch your nose on a parking lot concrete block you will cry . Easy to install with a pair of plastic ramps. Then for safety - not much light on the backside - the trunk brake LED kit and turn signal kit. All from the sponsors on main page!!
