Last week while at Home coming, I found a post someone had posted about a weather app that they found which would let them know the weather where they were at. Have looked on advance search and am unable to locate. Can anyone stear me in the correct direction? Thanks

Try this....
I found this to be the best for traveling...My Radar... you can get a better picture of weather conditions where you are and where your going at the time you are doing it...

I use Weather Bug. It was recommended by a pilot friend.

+1 on using Weather Bug

Many weather apps will default to your current location for convenience. I use mostly My Radar and Weather Bug. The Weather Bug app is useful for showing lightning in the area.
