    Default Caliper trim kit

Hi there everybody , Just a quick question , I tried to install the caliper trim kit today and I noticed that the self-adhesive glue that comes with it it's not that good .
I'm afraid they are going to come off pretty easy.
How did you guys install yours ?
What type of adhesive will be ideal for this kit ?

    Thanks in advance .

Just stuck them on using the adhesive on the trim kit. No problems since Thanksgiving!

Mine have been on since March of 2008 without using any additional adhesives. I just cleaned the mounting surface on the rotor pretty good (with brake parts cleaner as I recall) and applied the trim stickers.

If you have already tried to stick the trim on with the self-stick adhesive that is on the trim and it does not work, carefully scrape the adhesive off in about three places and use silicone glue. That happened to me on one side and I used Gorilla Glue and it is holding perfectly.

1000 miles on mine with the adhesive it came with. Was skeptical but seems to be holding fine !

I have the chrome and black handle bar inserts from Kuryakyn and the adhesive there seemed weak as well, but they are hanging on as well. They seem to be "tighter" now then when I first put them on. Maybe it cures some after application.
