    Default ST Longest Ride Ever

    For me

Over the Memorial day weekend I went for a straight 2.5 hour ride, that's a long time for a dog!

Bike is almost 4 years old, 11,000 miles and for some reason still like running it around town.

So the bike is now 7 years old and just passed 18,000 miles

Can’t believe I still love running it around town, usually get bored with things quick.

Let’s see if I can make it to 10 years.

I've taken my ST for a 3+hr ride and have been amazed with how little pain I felt in the rump and back areas.
If I went that long on my BMW F800ST, I'd be dying to get off it.

I realize that post is over three years old, but you would not have survived our last vacation (a couple of weeks ago). We took it VERY easy this time around. Just six days, only two of them were (barely) over 300 miles. About 1600 miles, total. Lots of "stopping to smell the roses" and sight-seeing, visiting with friends, etc. 2.5 hours is barely enough to go through one tank of gas.

Wow, no way. Bike gets uncomfortable usually after about 2 hours for me. But with that said...maybe it’s different on the interstate if there were less traffic. Lots of stop and go around town.

Try installing a DAVE’S CONFORMAX GEL SEAT KIT
It worked for me. 250 - 500 miles is easy with the new pad.

I can tolerate about 1 hour without stopping. My outer cheeks don't get enough support on the stock seat, plus I feel like pulling my pants down and hosing my arse off with a garden hose, though this is not socially acceptable behavior in most circles. Just added a CalSci windscreen, eyeballing Russell Day-Long or maybe I will wait until I get a new/newer RT!

I can match that, 2015 F3's bought new, 5 yrs & 8,000 miles. Normal trip to store = 4 mi one way==several hundred/thousand times. 118 mph top speed before Stage 2 upgrade. I think a 2 hr ride was my max. Spyder has never seen the dealer since purchase. Just replaced front tires for fun. Never aligned. No problems :-)

Yeah sounds a lot like me. I did my own alignment when I bought the bike and still have original front tires that still look awesome.

I have a $1000 Corbin seat, it’s not the problem, I’m old and get tired. Lol

I picked up a used Corbin seat on my 2013 ST Limited. We ride all day with no problems 500 + miles many times. Not sure I could do it without the Hiway Pegs because I have to straighten my legs. We went on a 5 day trip this last summer and had over 500 miles each day. No problem. I'm 71 so maybe when I get older there may be a problem but certainly not now.
