    Default changing rear brake pads

I am thinking of changing the brake myself but have a couple of question. Do i have to remove the muffler to change de rear pads. if so that means i will also need to change the flange. secondly do i need to buy the new bolts for galiper or BRP pads comme in a kit and i have all i need.

    thanks

No you do not need to remove muffler.

I have a 2010 & changed the Pads in an hour or 2 counting a cold beer. I had watched a couple of video's on YouTube which were very informative & followed their example.
Bought the pads from the dealer & bolts were included plus a couple other small parts - cost was around $66.
Mine was pretty easy as I have a tow bar & readjusted the cable with the rear tire raised. Had also removed the right side cover to make sure the cable was perfect on the pulley & inspected everything.

There is a specific way to brake the first few miles to bed the pads properly to the rotor.
