    Default Back again...

Many of you may remember my story. Left New England for Florida. Bought a new RT while we were living in the south. Sold it when we moved back to Maine but then started really missing my Spyder. Bought a single owner original year 2008 GS that had been absolutely babied.

Best thing I've ever bought for myself. I have long arms and handlebar extenders so I'm almost as comfortable on it as the RT but the ride in my opinion is way better. 300 pounds lighter and the thing just flat out flies. I miss the warm nights down south but the mountain terrain up here is just a blast on the GS.

Just thought I'd let everyone know I'm still alive and well. Ride til it hurts. Then get off, stretch and ride some more!

Excellent choice, 2008 GS. What more is there to say.

    Default Yellow

Nice color! That is a great looking '08. Is it a P.E. edition?
I really like the new Spyders, they keep getting better.
But... the GS/RS Spyders are great machines.
If I am fortunate enough to get a newer model I don't think I can give up my 1st.

    Default I like your post

I still have my 09 GS SE5 and debate upgrading. Your comments on the ride fit my opinions spot on plus I have this 09 fine tuned to all of my personal needs and preferences. It's been rock solid with 18K on the clock so I keep on going. Soon I'll need to retire from riding anyway. It's a great machine just like what I first saw back in 08.

Ryde on and enjoy. Be safe.
