I installed the Lamonster Longhorn Mirror Light Kit on my RT. It looks to be the same as the Spyderpops lights. I do like them a lot. I did have to make an adjustment after installation though. Be sure not to install too far forward on the mirror or you will not be able to see them from the operator's position. I peeled back the ends and angled them back from the center on the ends of the mirror.

the difference
I watched both videos of these - Lamonster garage version and Spderpops, it seems to me that they plug and play in a different spot ? Was the Spyderpops in just the mirror wiring ? Thanks for all the give me the heads up....

It is interesting watching the video - you can see the LEDs come on instantly while the rear lights take just a moment to brighten up. Another plus for LEDs.

This is my concern. Can you see these from the driver's seat? That's my main motiviation - since the tiny dash blinkers are so hard to see.

Order some SIDE EMITTING lights cut them to length you want splice them into the turn wiring and you got the same thing. That is exactly what I did on my 11 at about half the cost ot the pre-wired one sold (Try here).

Position bottom of strip toward you. Spyderpops. Take off mirror installing becomes clear. Plug N play. No splicing.

I would also suggest favoring the back/driver side of the mirror housing. They're adhesive so they can be put on anywhere you please. If you put them too close to the "gap" on the bottom side of the mirror, you won't be able to see them from the seat. Put them on on the back edge of the mirror and you'll be able to see em.

The Longhorn mirror lights are NOT the same as the "full view" mirror mounted turn signal lights. I had the same questions and asked about it. The "full view" are turn signal only, and are plug and play with the mirror lighting only, no other connection needed. The Longhorn lights are run and turn signals. On all the time and then flash with the turn signals. In order to get power for the for the lights to be on all the time, requires a second connection under the front panel. That connection is also with a plug, and no wire cutting/splicing is needed. Lamonster's video is very helpful an shows how to do both connections. Hope that clears it up for you.
